a5c7b9f00b Get miniaturized and zoom through the human body with Captain Braddock and Dr. Cynthia Lair You mission is to rescue a Dr. Lair and also to study the reactions of a splinter. Your ride soon will end once the power supply is 2%. Your ride is over by being sucked out of the ear. Body Wars takes you on a quick tour through the human body to pick up Dr. Cynthia Lair, who is investigating white cell response time to a splinter penetration. She gets sucked down a capillary and you go chasing after her, with your power steadily draining all the while. I've ridden this attraction many times and I have to admit it's not my favorite, mostly from the fact that it's beginning to show it's age. It is, however, very well done and very detailed. I recommend at least seeing once if you haven't yet. A note to those who might get motion sickness: Feel free to request a motionless ride when you get to the front of the line. Often when they are not busy they are more than happy to oblige, and you might even get to see it without anyone else with you :) Also, unlike Star Tours, videotaping is welcome (and MUCH easier with no motion). "Body Wars" is the video for a Disney theme park ride that takes the participants not far into space this time, but insteadshrunk versions of themselves into the human bodythey are on a mission to find out what happened to young scientist Dr. Cynthia Lair. The cast is really decent for a theme park videoby today's standards we have Oscar nominees and Emmy nominees in here. And the director is nobody else than the late Star Trek legend Leonard Nimoy, but yeah the ride itself is fairly dated today and it is also nothing that will really sparkle your interest in biology or anatomy I would. It seems the ride is no longer used today by Disney and it got replaced by other rides that are more on the level of technical progress these days. Maybe the right movie on the subject, perhaps a remake of "Fantastic Voyage" can bring back a modernized version? I am not sure. But this old version gets a thumbs-down from me and I am glad it ran for five minutes only.
